The Center for Expanded Data Annotation and Retrieval (CEDAR) will demonstrate its newly released CEDAR Workbench at the International Data Week in Denver, CO.
Dr. Mark Musen is leading the RDA Birds of a Feather session Software for Better Description and Retrieval of Online Scientific Data at RDA's 8th Plenary BoF meeting, at which attendees can demonstrate for one another their software—both research prototypes and mature systems—and discuss the challenges of constructing computer-based tools to enhance the quality of data annotation and of data retrieval.
The CEDAR Workbench demonstration will cover some of the more interesting features of this new system, providing an opportunity to consider the challenges in end-to-end metadata management for scientific research.
