CEDAR Highlighted at the 2017 BD2K-LINCS Data Science Symposium

May 16, 2017

Dr. Daniel Cooper coordinates many of the scientific challenges submitting data to the Library of Integrated Network-based Cellular Signatures (LINCS) Data Coordination and Integration Center (DCIC). In this role he has been instrumental in defining and guiding CEDAR adoption and integration in the LINCS DCIC framework.

Recently Dr. Cooper attended the the Data Science Symposium (DSS), which focused on the systems biology of cellular perturbations and applications in translational biomedicine. In his talk, he discussed how to leverage Big Data using FAIR data principles, and highlighted how CEDAR's framework can enable simplification and streamlining of metadata submission workflow.
